Independent car dealership, Mark Campbell Motors of Breaston,
will pay honour to the Royal couple by holding a family-orientated
open weekend on Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May.
An avid Royal fan and owner of the established, family-run
dealership and garage, Mark Campbell decided to not only invite the
public to celebrate the Royal wedding in style, but even went so
far as to commission his own bespoke commemorative mug to provide
visitors with a lasting reminder of the historic event. The design,
created by award-winning Derbyshire artist and illustrator, Debra
Yates, features a motoring-themed coat of arms with a caricature
pencil drawing within.
As well as a complimentary barbecue, visitors will also be
invited to take tea and wedding cake on the garage forecourt. There
is the opportunity to save £500 on vehicle prices through
balloon popping game; 'Have a pop at our prices' and a competition
to win a superb satnav system. In addition, throughout the weekend
the company is offering free spring vehicle checks.
"We're no stranger to holding family events here at Mark
Campbell Motors", explained Mark. "Providing our own fun-packed
celebrations is our way of thanking our wonderful customers and
public for their continued support", Mark added. "We were very
mindful to avoid the big day though, being the 29th, as we wouldn't
want to jeopardise a healthy turnout for the wedding itself", he
quipped.
The event will be open to all members of the public from 10am to
5pm on both days. Those wishing to receive further information
should call 01332 874 404.
