Solihull businesses have the opportunity to meet the buyers from major Solihull companies at an event which is being held on May 11. Businesses are invited to meet the men and women who place the orders for Jaguar Land Rover, the NEC Group and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

Jane Jackson, Director of Solihull Chamber of Commerce which is organising the Solihull Showcase exhibition, said each business will have an opportunity to promote their services or products to the buyer for these businesses which have large budgets.

She said: "For a business who might want to sell to these companies, it can be a minefield.  They are so large that it is difficult to know who to contact.  Our Meet the Buyer event at the Solihull Showcase Exhibition provides a foot in the door."

The event is being held at Solihull College's new management centre which will be officially opened by former apprentice of the college and head chef Glyn Purnell.

There will also be business to business exhibition stands and a number of optional break-out sessions on business subjects.

Businesses wishing to book a slot with a buyer should tel. 0121 781 7384.
