Derby-based rail service company, Yellow Rail, has strengthened
its management team with the appointment of Jonathon Atkinson as
Customer Services Director.
Jonathon joins Yellow Rail, which is based at the iD Centre on
London Road, from Bombardier Transportation, where he spent 12
years and gained considerable understanding of the rail sector and
of managing multi-site operational projects at train operators
depots and heavy maintenance sites.
Jonathon has a wealth of experience in the fields of
engineering, operations and commercial management. He has a broad
understanding of the UK rail sector and brings with him tremendous
industry knowledge.
In his new role, Jonathon will be charged with the task of
managing the company's growing customer activities, which range
from consultancy to low cost depot-based operational services and
specialist route to market services. This forms part of the
company's continued growth strategy in the UK rail sector.
Commenting on Jonathon's appointment, Andy Kevins, managing
