On the 15th March, Enlink Limited in partnership with the
Swedish Chamber of Commerce arranged a closed event in Warwick for
its clients, business partners and network to meet Sven-Göran
Eriksson. The title was "Meet Sven-Göran Eriksson".
The event was held at the historic Lord Leycester Hospital in
Warwick town centre. The focus of the event was to learn more about
Sven-Göran Eriksson and how his successful leadership style
might be implemented into business. The event was opened by Annika
Wallberg of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the UK, followed by
Carolina Jönsson, founding Director of Enlink Ltd. The
audience included business people from several UK subsidiaries of
Swedish companies and from Enlink's extensive network of service
providers.
Sven-Goran Eriksson said: "It was a genuine pleasure to meet
everyone and I found the evening's discussion very stimulating.
Many of the skills used in everyday life are transferrable in to
sport and I feel that as a group we were all able to share our
experiences, hopefully to our collective benefit.
"I would like to thank everyone at Enlink Limited for organising
the event and for choosing to invite me as a guest speaker."
The evening concluded with drinks and canapés and an
opportunity for the 90 visitors to meet Mr Eriksson, network with
colleagues from other companies with similar interests and to look
around the historic Lord Leycester Hospital buildings, some of the
oldest in the area.
Enlink Director, Kate Service, said afterwards "We are extremely
thrilled and grateful to Sven-Göran for agreeing to be our key
speaker. This event has meant a great deal to us and we have had
some terrific feedback from several of our guests".
