Barclays Corporate announces two new appointments as it
continues the expansion of its Leicestershire based team with the
arrival of Keith Ross and Beckie Blockley.
Keith Ross, who joins Barclays from Royal Bank of Scotland, has
been appointed Relationship Director and will have responsibility
for managing a portfolio of corporate clients across the County.
Beckie Blockley has been appointed Business Development Manager and
will be responsible for developing new relationships and growing
Barclays market share in the area.
These new positions created within Barclays Corporate represent
part of their continued expansion in the wider East Midlands region
following some key appointments in Nottingham and Derby during
2010. Rob Bayliss, Head of Leicestershire, said, "I am delighted to
have someone of Keith's calibre joining the team. His relationship
experience and in particular his International Trade Finance
knowledge, will be a valuable asset to us."
Beckie's appointment was an internal promotion within Barclays,
having been a very successful Relationship Support Manager.
Commenting on her promotion, Rob Bayliss said: "Beckie's
appointment is fully deserved and I am delighted that she is moving
into the Business Development role to support Keith and her other
colleagues, as we look to accelerate the growth of our business in
Leicestershire"
