National work-based and commercial training organisation Positive Outcomes has made three senior hires in the last few weeks.

Angela Cole has joined as Head of UK Sales, to assist in driving the business and corporate vision, utilising her extensive global sales skills and expertise. 

The role represents the final appointment for the company's Strategic Management Team, which works to implement Positive Outcomes' ambitious strategy for growth across the business' UK network of offices. 

Angela joins existing Strategic Management Team members Martin Wright, Positive Outcomes' Head of Training Development & Quality, Cheryl Peto, Head of HR & Support Services, and Gemma Cripwell, Head of Finance. The team reports directly to Positive Outcomes' Managing Director Chris Longmate.

The company has also recruited Jemma Taylor-Smith to the new position of Marketing Manager, and Recruitment Manager Sam Lawrence, who is based in the company's dedicated recruitment head office in Nottingham city centre. 

All three new recruits have considerable experience in their respective fields. 

Angela has a proven track record in developing and delivering sales strategies that achieve customers' objectives. Most recently Global Sales Manager for a high-end food manufacturer in the South of England, Angela has worked with a number of the UK's best known food retailers.

In her new role at Positive Outcomes, Angela will work with the company's key clients throughout the UK to identify and understand their training requirements and ensure this works to achieve the overall plans for the business in terms of growth and operational requirements. She also has responsibility for the company's Business Development Managers, Apprenticeship Team and Commercial Sales Team operating nationwide.

Jemma Taylor-Smith joins from Nottingham law firm, Berryman, and brings substantial business-to-business marketing experience. She is responsible for marketing planning and implementation, with her first project being the development of a suite of new marketing collateral, including a client magazine and revamped website.  

Sam Lawrence brings over eight years commercial recruitment expertise to Positive Outcomes. Its Recruitment arm specialises in the range of commercial recruitment, from senior corporate management posts to general office clerical and call centre positions.
