Coventry-based marketing and communications consultancy The
Bridge Group has announced its merger with design and digital
agency, VU Creative.
VU Creative was set up by Nimlok, renowned provider of events
and exhibition solutions. Nicola Winn is now managing director of
the new organisation, following the merger.
The new venture sees The Bridge Group, which is based in Binley,
take on a new base in Wellingborough. It will also welcome seven
new staff, including a specialist digital director. The company
will now offer additional services including event material,
animation, electronic games and surveys, innovative data capture
projects, the development of touch screen technology, smartphone
apps and film.
Managing director Nicola Winn said: "We have worked with VU
Creative as a preferred partner for a while now and there is a
natural fit in the skills and culture of the two organisations.
"We are delighted to be able to offer our existing clients the
benefit of new technology, and can see particular uses when
organisations want to actively engage with customers.
"Our traditional PR, marketing, communications and engagement
services will continue to be based in Coventry, under The Bridge
Group brand."
The Bridge Group, which recently celebrated its tenth
anniversary and is based at Binley, works predominantly with
housing sector, health, local authority and not-for-profit clients
across the country.
Each year, PR Week publishes a league table of the top 25 public
sector consultancies. In the latest rankings, The Bridge Group is
at number nine - achieving the third-highest placing outside London
and number one in the midlands.
