Emprima Ltd, the Solihull-based construction and regeneration
consultancy currently masterminding the project management of a
£215 million redevelopment scheme at Aston University, has
received "top marks" in a new report, which provides in-depth
research on the construction management market.
The Plimsoll Analysis rates Emprima as a "strong" company, based
on its recent business performances, while at the same time it says
that 58 of Emprima's competitors are in financial danger and will
struggle to survive.
The report, which has individually assessed each of the top 185
companies in the UK construction management sector, confirms that
competitive pressure is now "so intense" that a third of all
companies operating in the industry are making a loss.
Emprima's Managing Director, Neil Pountney, commented: "The
annual Plimsoll Analysis - Construction Management" report is
acknowledged as a leading research document, providing an
up-to-date and accurate insight into the industry. At a time when
our sector is facing extremely challenging conditions, it is
heartening to be recognised by an independent expert assessor as a
company that is not only getting it right, but one that has a solid
future."
