A locally-based global used plant and equipment auction portal is gearing up to expand its service and launch an exciting new online auction for used cars, vans, trucks and trailers.

Shrewsbury-based Mr Machinery is branching out from their usual fortnightly used plant and heavy equipment auctions to introduce Mr Machinery Motors, an additional auction dedicated to selling used vehicles. The new format will offer an extra platform for construction and agricultural businesses, used car and van dealers, and members of the public to buy and sell vehicles.

Mark Bacon, CEO for Mr Machinery, explained: "Mr Machinery Motors is a logical progression for us. As well as requiring high quality used heavy plant and equipment such as diggers, cranes and tractors, many of our customers also have a need for cars, vans, trailers and trucks too."

"We have already seen significant interest in our first event and have a number of interesting vehicles up for auction, not only from across the UK and Ireland, but from Belgium and the United States too. I'd urge anyone interested in finding out more information to register for free on www.mrmachinery.com, where they can also see a full list of the items up for auction."

The first Mr Machinery Motors auction will run from Tuesday 8th March at 0800 hours until Thursday 10th March at 1600 hours (GMT).

Moving into the used vehicle market is the latest in a series of exciting developments at Mr Machinery over recent months. The firm, which is set to celebrate its fourth birthday later this year, has recruited two new members of staff at their Shropshire headquarters, changed to a reserved auction model, and put plans in place to open new offices in Germany and France.

Mr Machinery is a dedicated online auction portal offering a unique platform for the sale and purchase of used plant machinery. Founded in 2007, the organisation has a global audience across more than 170 countries worldwide and currently attracts an average of 25,000 unique users to its site every year. With extensive experience within the heavy equipment and logistics industries, the team provides both buyers and sellers a professional, personal and reliable service.
