A unique anti-halitosis mouthwash that is already the number one
over-the-counter seller of its kind in four other countries will be
made available to all UK dental professionals at the Dentistry Show
which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on March 4th and
5th.
CB12 was launched onto the UK market from its Shrewsbury base in
October last year, but was only available to Denplan dentists at
that time. Now every dental practice in the country will be able to
purchase and stock the product which can be ordered in quantities
as small as one box at a time.
Clinical comparison studies carried out by the Microbiology Unit
of West of England University, Bristol, have proved CB12
neutralises and prevents production of the foul smelling volatile
sulphur compounds (VCSs) which cause endogenous bad breath. When
tested against four other commercially available mouthwashes the
product came out top.
CB12 was developed by, a leading dentist and implantologist who
practices at The Dental Spa on Oxon Business Park in Shrewsbury. He
says: "Unlike a lot of other products CB12 works by chemically
binding itself to tissues in the oral cavity and effectively
stopping VSCs in their tracks. The product can be used by anyone
over 8 years of age and a single dose remains effective in keeping
the breath fresh for twelve hours."
