A Birmingham profit-for-good management and human resources
consultancy has appointed Lichfield-based Ian Strachan
Communications Ltd to handle its press relations.
Rednal-based Naturally Concerned has brought Ian Strachan
Communications on board to raise its profile and help with
forthcoming product and service launches.
Naturally Concerned was established in 2008 by personnel and
management expert Rob Ball, who previously held HR director
positions at GKN and before that MG Rover. He established Naturally
Concerned in memory of his wife Alison, who died from a brain
tumour. All profits from Naturally Concerned go to Alison's
favourite charities.
"We are not a conventional consultancy, but we believe
passionately that a business or organisation can only succeed with
the efforts of its workforce. We work with a number of businesses,
with that as a key principle. We will shortly be involved in some
exciting launches, which is why we needed specialist PR help," said
Rob Ball.
"We chose Ian Strachan Communications because of its
wide-ranging experience and contacts and its no-nonsense,
value-for-money approach to PR, which will fit this company's
culture well," he added.
This is the second client win in a month for Ian Strachan
Communications, which recently added Hopkins - one of Birmingham's
oldest manufacturing companies - to its growing portfolio.
Ian Strachan Communications Ltd was set up eleven years ago by
Ian Strachan, formerly corporate affairs director at Birmingham
commercial vehicle manufacturer LDV and corporate communications
director at Rover Group. Major clients include Mansell
Construction and the Hartshorne Motor Group.
Ian Strachan said, "Naturally Concerned is a fascinating company
with a unique background and I am delighted to have been given the
opportunity to help the company raise its profile."
