Proactive PR, the UK-based international multimedia PR
consultancy, has been selected to provide PR support for the
country's flagship broadband event organisers NG Events Ltd -
trading as NextGen.
NextGen is responsible for the highly successful NextGen two-day
conferences which have been held across the country for the past
four years and are pre-dated by a series of supporting regional
Roadshow events earlier in the year. This year the first event is
being held in Edinburgh - hosted by the Royal Society of Edinburgh
and Scotland IS - on May 12, with other dates fixed for later in
May, June and July.
"Proactive PR has a strong track record in broadband technology
in particular and in telecommunications in general and we are
looking forward to working with them to help raise the profile of
our events," said NextGen Director Marit Hendriks.
"We have been working hard to develop the conference and last
year's NextGen10 in Birmingham was very encouraging, with higher
attendances, top quality delegates and a real feeling of a dynamic
momentum building across the UK for the adoption of next generation
broadband."

prominent broadband-focused companies and organisations.

Proactive PR will be supporting NextGen with a range of
activities from news releases and media management to providing
press office support and television services.
