Powell Williams LLP, the national building surveying and project management practice, has advised on the £15m purchase of a 200,000 sq ft freezer unit in Coleshill, West Midlands. The building consultancy carried out the acquisition survey for Ropemaker Properties, the investment arm of the BP pension fund.

The cold store, at the Hams Hall Distribution Park, was purchased on a sale and leaseback agreement from Partner Logistics which will continue to operate the warehouse.
