On track for expansion

Redditch-based firm Kadfire is on the fast track after expanding into major new premises in the town, with the help of property agents John Truslove.

Kadfire produces marketing and customer information publicity for a number of large companies across the UK. With a strong history in supplying the transport market, clients include the likes of Network Rail, London Overground, Cross Country, Chiltern Railways, Arriva, London Midland, East Midlands Trains and First Great Western.

The business has gone from 3,000 sq ft to 10,675 sq ft of offices and warehouse space at Unit One, Trescott Road, Trafford Park Industrial Estate.

Kadfire has a design and print studio and also develops and maintains timetable and journey planning solutions for the iPhone, Blackberry and mobile phones.

Studio manager Anton Thomas said: "We aim to offer our clients an end-to-end service from concept through to final product". He went on "We are looking to expand what has historically been a niche-market operation to a much wider audience. Our in-house print facility manages the print and dispatch of large format posters, indoor and outdoor banners, small and large signage, and a variety of other printed display products."

Launched in 1995, the company employs a total of 25 people and also has offices in London.

Mr Truslove said: "Kadfire is a great example of an SME doing well in a specialist sector. We were very pleased to be of assistance."

It has agreed a 10 year lease with a break clause in its favour at the end of the fifth year.
