Shropshire and Herefordshire legal practice Lanyon Bowdler are
pleased to promote a new department within the firm. Rebecca
Whittaker, a fully qualified solicitor, is now able to offer
private individuals, business clients and landowners legal advice
in relation to Town & Country Planning matters.
Rebecca, who trained with the firm, spent some time working in a
large Birmingham practice before returning to Shrewsbury and Lanyon
Bowdler. For the last three years she has been a member of
the Commercial & General Property team, headed by Andrew Evans,
and acts in all aspects of non-contentious property work. Rebecca
has developed an interest in Town & Country Planning law
through the nature of the work she has more recently specialised in
and is enjoying the fresh challenge of the new department and this
ever changing area of law.
Andrew Evans comments "I am delighted Rebecca has chosen to
focus on Town & Country Planning Law, it is a new area for us
but it complements the work we undertake for clients, particularly
within our Property Department."
Rebecca is able to offer practical legal advice on a range of
matters such as planning applications, assistance in opposing
applications and guidance on how to deal with appeals or
enforcement actions.
