Due to a significant increase in new client wins over the past
year, leading Banbury-based law firm Spratt Endicott has appointed
Tom McInerney within its Private Client department, to meet growing
demand.
Tom, who qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 and trained in London
with another Legal 500 firm, joined Spratt Endicott in January. His
new role sees him advising on a range of challenging, multi-million
pound estates and other confidential client matters, including
personal tax, trusts and probate, for a portfolio of contentious,
high-profile and celebrity clients as well as a number of
charities.
Having previously worked as a legal advisor at the United
Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Macmillan Cancer
Support, Tom is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate
Practitioners and a member of the Probate Section of the Law
Society. He brings specialist knowledge of will drafting, tax
planning, Court of Protection work and the administration of
private estates to Spratt Endicott's Private Client department,
while advising on all aspects of private client law including
lifetime and post-death tax planning. Additionally, he deals with
surrounding issues such as property and family matters, income tax
and capital gains tax.
David Endicott, Managing Partner at Spratt Endicott Solicitors,
comments: "Thanks to an ever-growing portfolio of clients,
including a significant volume of new client wins through personal
recommendations, our Private Client team needed an additional,
highly experienced solicitor to cope with demand. In addition to
retaining all of our long-term clients, Tom's appointment means we
can continue to provide and maintain the highest level of service
that each of our clients expect, in a timely fashion, warranting
the trust and confidence that they have in our work. Tom brings a
wealth of experience with him that is sure to help us maintain our
100 per cent client retention while attracting even more new
clients this year."
