Jephson Housing Association Group is "well organised",
financially "strong" and "able to adapt to meet the challenges of
continuing to provide new housing supply", according to an
independent report by the Tenant Services Authority (TSA).
The national housing regulator has praised Jephson, which owns
homes across the Midlands and has an office in Leamington Spa, for
positively engaging with tenants over decision-making and also
highlighted that tenant satisfaction with repairs is rising across
the group, thanks to improved contractor performance.
The TSA's Regulatory Judgement also praised Jephson's management
for its actions in "responding quickly and decisively to the credit
crunch" and for "good evidence of continuous improvement via the
service improvement groups."
The report acknowledged that the Jephson Group, which includes
Marches Housing Association, is properly governed and recognised
its plans to continue building affordable new homes across the
country.
Jephson Group Chief Executive Bob Strachan said: "I welcome this
report, which recognises the success of our efforts to work closely
with our tenants to provide the best possible service.
"However, we will not rest on our laurels and will stay focused
on meeting the challenges of reviewing our development plans and
further developing effective tenant scrutiny of our
operations."
