Up to 30 jobs will be created at the new Midlands base for
specialist charity fundraiser GoGen - which has taken 1,800 sq ft
of refurbished office space at Castle Heights, Nottingham, in a
deal done by Innes England.
London-based GoGen, which looks to seek support for charities
through face-to-face contact and by telephone, has selected the
city centre property as its first Midlands site.
GoGen managing director Dylan Harding said: "With our
established contacts in the East Midlands, Nottingham seemed a
perfect location to increase our presence. Over the last few years
we have rapidly expanded and Nottingham will complement our Bristol
and Bedford offices".
GoGen is currently recruiting 25-30 new staff for the new
Nottingham office. Many of these people will be working on
telephones.
Dylan added: "The efficiency and speed in the conclusion of the
deal was also a crucial factor in selecting Castle Heights as we
were keen to be up and running as soon as possible. I am delighted
that from start to finish the process took under four weeks."
The property deal was secured by Scott Osborne, surveyor at
Innes England, who said: "The market continues to see improvements
in many areas and we are experiencing consistent levels of demand
for high quality and refurbished properties such as Castle
Heights.
"Building on Nottingham's talent as a contact centre
destination, GoGen will be joining companies like Domestic and
General and Specsavers which operate in the city employing talented
staff from the city and surrounding areas.
"Castle Heights offers a range of refurbished suites all
finished to a very high standard and GoGen is the latest occupier
to benefit from this."
Innes England is joint letting agent with Lambert Smith Hampton
for Castle Heights and continues to market the remaining 8,081 sq
ft over three floors.
