Midlands law firm Harvey Ingram has continued its aggressive
expansion of operations with a string of new appointments.
Personal Injury development manger Alex Dettmar joins from
Blakemores in Birmingham. He is joined by fellow personal injury
specialist Dawn Slow, who comes from Leicester firm Bray &
Bray. Dawn is a senior legal executive with a well-established
professional pedigree in overseeing catastrophic brain injury
claims and medical negligence work. She is also a council member of
the Institute of Legal Executives, secretary to the Child Brain
Injury Trust Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Family Support
Group and a trustee of Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland
Headway.
New Trusts & Probate associate Karen Shakespeare joins from
national firm Shoosmiths, where she advised land and business
owners on estate planning, wealth management and tax. Her clients
included sports personalities and celebrities. She also advised
lottery winners as part of the Camelot advisory panel. Karen has
more than 12 years' experience and specialises in wills, tax and
trusts.
Harvey Ingram's rapidly expanding Employment team has also been
boosted with the arrival of specialist personnel consultant Susan
Venables. She has a wealth of experience having specialised in
advising SMEs on critical HR matters.
The latest appointments follow the arrival of a host of fellow
top-performers. They also help cement Harvey Ingram's status as the
