Newcastle-under-Lyme's Bibby Consulting & Support,
specialist in employment law and health and safety legislation, has
appointed Steve Attwood as its new Head of Projects, the most
senior recruitment the company has made in many years.
The new post has been created in a continuing period of growth
at Bibby CAS that has seen a dozen employees join in a matter of
months. As the company expands, Steve's role will involve ensuring
its services fully reflect and meet the needs of clients. He will
also oversee how Bibby delivers services, developing solutions that
will improve performance within the organisation.
Steve says: "I am delighted to be joining Bibby Consulting &
Support at this exciting time when the company is going from
strength to strength. Bibby already has an excellent reputation for
its range of consultancy and support services but my brief is to
look company-wide at how we can continually improve the way we
work, what we do and how we do it. We want all our customers to
benefit from a consistently high standard of service."
Before joining Bibby Consulting & Support, Steve was
governance manager (ICT) at Staffordshire County Council. Other
previous posts include change consultant: business transformation
at Fujitsu Services, business transformation team at Walsall
Council, and head of ideas and innovation at Barclays Bank Plc.
Steve's appointment follows a recruitment drive at Bibby CAS
that has seen two technical consultants - Jennifer Grey and
Samantha Sharp - taking up brand new posts in the health, safety
and environment team. With a wealth of senior health and safety
knowledge and expertise, Samantha has a degree in social welfare
and experience supporting facility managers, while Jennifer has
been a health and safety manager for several companies in the
manufacturing industry.
Other appointments are as a result of the expansion of the
Marketing team at Brunswick Street in Newcastle. This includes Kate
Hardy, a specialist trainer for their Tele-marketing team, eight
new telemarketing staff, and Stuart McNicholas a database analyst,
who previously worked for the University Hospital of North
Staffordshire.
Managing Director Michael Slade says: "Over the last year we
have seen growth that has been driven by our commitment to
customers and our ability to deliver the kind of support that they
need. We are excited about the future growth of Bibby Consulting
& Support and these key appointments reflect that confidence to
expand further during 2011."
