Halesowen-based chartered accountancy firm Nicklin LLP is seeing
its ongoing commitment to staff training and development pay off as
three of its students celebrate further exam passes.
Kelly Holmes and Nicky Whiley, who both work in the firm's audit
and accounts department, received excellent exam results from the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), with Kelly
passing a further three papers and Nicky passing her final exam to
become a fully qualified ACCA member.
Meanwhile, Rebecca Whalley has passed a further two papers,
taking her a step closer to becoming a chartered accountant.
At the same time, the firm continues to expand with the
recruitment of a new trainee, Michael Holden. Michael joins
Nicklins from an engineering background and will be training for
his Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) membership before
working towards further qualifications at the firm.
Managing partner Harvey Owen said: "I would like to congratulate
Kelly, Nicky and Rebecca on their excellent exam results. At
Nicklins, we view staff training and development as a valuable
investment which benefits both the company and our clients. Having
watched their progress since they first joined the firm, I am
extremely proud of their achievements.
"I am also delighted to welcome Michael to Nicklins. While many
companies today are downsizing, we are always looking to take on
and train talented individuals and I am sure Michael will prove to
be a real asset to the firm."
