With the country increasingly reliant on the private sector to
create growth in the economy, the new Barclays business event in
Birmingham could not have come at a better time.
Over 70 businesses attended a 'Driving your business forward'
seminar to hear from business expert, Louise Nicolaou. The seminar
provided delegates with the essential tools and expertise for
stable business growth. The attendees also had a great opportunity
to network with their peer group
Greg McCall, Area Manager for Barclays Business in Birmingham
said: "Local businesses are the backbone of Britain's economy and
it's important to support the ongoing efforts of local businesses
in such challenging market conditions. Businesses in Birmingham
have shown their resilience through the recent down turn and this
event was organised to provide the tools to help them plan the next
stage of their development."
The session took place on the Barclays Take One Small Step unit
which is touring the country providing a venue for community and
business events which was located at Birmingham City Football
Club.
