Hewlett Packard, in conjunction with Intel, is investing in a
significant 6 month reseller campaign, 'Peak to Peak',
promoting incremental sales of Intel based HP server
products.
Hewlett Packard Partners in the UK and Ireland have been invited
to take part in the incentive, which challenges participant avatars
to climb the peaks of 12 of the world's highest mountains online,
winning themed reward and the chance of a real life mountain-top
holiday. Hewlett Packard's internal sales teams will be competing
in a separate, parallel incentive.
The programme is the work of Stratford upon Avon based Corporate
Rewards, and features their trademark creative theming, animated
graphics, interactive games and multiple reward elements. One
reseller has already described the programme as 'Farmville for
techies'
'From initial feedback from the HP UK&I channel we are very
confident that 'Peak to Peak' will be a great success and help
contribute in a fun and innovative way to the continued growth of
the HP industry standard server business' said Paul Kember, HP
UK&I Country Manager - Industry Standard Servers.
Corporate Rewards has been designing incentives for HP,
initially in conjunction with fellow customer Microsoft, since
2004.
Says Corporate Rewards MD Sean Wilkinson 'Peak to Peak
represents Hewlett Packard's largest investment with Corporate
Rewards so far, and reflects both organisations' belief in the
importance of the role of incentives in boosting reseller sales
performance'
