CitySprint, the UK's largest privately owned SameDay
Distribution company, has been presented with a 'Reduction: Value'
award by the leading FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing business
MITIE.
The award was presented to CitySprint's Chief Executive, Patrick
Gallagher, and Sales & Marketing Director, Justin Moore, on
Wednesday 9th March 2011 at the inaugural MITIE Suppliers
Forum.
The Suppliers Forum was part of MITIE's 'Diversity week' which
took place between 7th and 11th March with the aim of raising
awareness of sustainability and diversity issues. MITIE's CEO Ruby
McGregor-Smith opened the event, with numerous other MITIE senior
management and the company's top 150 key suppliers attending. The
day included various workshops and presentations with a focus on
supplier diversity, sustainability and working smarter together.
The event culminated with the MITIE Supplier Awards where MITIE
presented awards to suppliers across four categories - with
CitySprint being presented with the 'Overall Winner - Reduction:
Value ' award.
Lorraine Barnet, Managing Director MITIE Business Services

collaboratively with MITIE to identify both efficiencies and
service improvements they have demonstrated the value which can be
achieved for our clients."
CitySprint, which offers SameDay Courier, SameDay Logistics,
International & UK Overnight courier services, has been
providing courier services to MITIE across the UK since 2004.
CitySprint's Chief Executive Patrick Gallagher commented: "I
