An Ilkeston IT firm is celebrating today after signing two new
accountancy clients in the space of 24 hours.
Centurion IT, based on Station Road, has agreed to provide
business maintenance contracts to both MS Accountancy, and Hobsons,
Chartered Accountants in Nottingham, after meetings with the
partners of both firms saw them sign on the dotted line this
month.
Managing Director, Andrew Hemming, said: "We are delighted to
have two new accountancy practices on board, and we hope that our
expertise in this area will enable us to secure more business in
this sector. We are finding that because we know the SAGE range of
products so well and because the service we offer is so cost
effective, our offer appeals to businesses looking to reduce costs
but maintain quality and service. .
"Our business maintenance contracts include remote and telephone
support, giving clients a single point of contact for all their IT
needs. It includes server and network monitoring, a free health
check at the start of a contract, and on site support for half a
day each month."
Monica Szolin-Jones, a Partner at Hobsons, Chartered
Accountants, said: "Whilst always endeavouring to keep abreast of
IT developments and maximise the capability of our system, over
time it had become increasingly fragmented. A recent strategic
review within the practice made it obvious that we should
consolidate & look to have a single provider. We met with a
number of firms and of those Centurion offered the best technical
as well as financial solution. Andrew & his team have already
impressed us with the way they have undertaken their role, and even
at this early stage we are seeing significant improvements in the
way our system functions leading to increased efficiencies."
Andrew added: "We were invited to carry out a series of two,
three hour pitches to the partners earlier this year and they
were very impressed with what we had to offer. After requesting
references from us, we passed the selection process with flying
colours, and the rest as they say is history!"
