Browne Jacobson has appointed Dan Simms as its new IT & Business Operations Director. 

A senior IT specialist, Dan has previously worked for Eversheds and more recently Addleshaw Goddard in London as Head of IT Technical Solutions, where he spearheaded a team of 30-plus advising the firm on its IT, technology and core business solutions.

Managing an IT team of 20, Dan will lead Browne Jacobson's IT strategy and be responsible for shaping and integrating all information and technology applications across its three office network as well as overseeing the firm's business operations.

Browne Jacobson has made significant investments in IT in recent years, including rolling out the WinScribe BlackBerry dictation solution to more than 200 users. The firm's IT team have also achieved Gold Standard Accreditation from The Institute of IT Training.
