A recruitment agency in Sutton Coldfield has been short-listed
out of hundreds of agencies from around the UK for a prestigious
"Recruiter Award".
Aspire People, specialists in education and care recruitment has
been short-listed for the category of "Best Recruitment Agency to
Work For".
The award is for the agency that provides its employees
with the most effective work environment, incentives, benefits and
training, along with providing proof of financial stability and
profitability. The winning entry must demonstrate workforce
diversity and the availability of career development opportunity
for all.
Michaela Powell, Director and Owner of Aspire People said: "It
is a true honour to be short-listed for this award. When I first
set up Aspire People I wanted to make sure that I provided the best
working environment for all my staff in the industry. The
recruitment sector is littered with companies that treat their
staff with long-working hours, statutory benefits and little career
progression. Even throughout the recession I have stayed true to my
values and will continue to provide employees with 40 days holiday,
emergency leave, funding for further education and development and
a working environment that is fun, safe and inspirational"
Aspire People were also short-listed for Birmingham's Best
Business for Work-Life Balance this year, the result will be
announced at a ceremony in Birmingham on Thursday 10th March
The Recruiter Awards will take place at the Grosvenor House
Hotel on Wednesday 11th May 2011 when the winners in each category
will be announced.
