Ann Widdecombe presents award to Annesley business woman

Mama Jewels celebrates innovation success!

MP Ann Widdecombe and Rally driver Penny Mallory presented local business Mama Jewels with their finalist award at the Women of worth awards, held at East Midlands conference centre on Tuesday 8th March.

As one of the top three most innovative Women's businesses in the Midlands, Mama Jewels manufactures jewellery designed so that children won't break it.

The brainchild of Amanda Waring from Annesley Woodhouse and born out of her own experience and that of thousands of women around the country, Mama Jewels products are safety tested to ensure young children don't break the jewellery.

Amanda Waring says ' The Judges liked the simplicity of Mama Jewels and that the business was inspired by the discovery that 82% of women surveyed give up wearing jewellery when they have young children for fear of it being broken' Mama Jewels offers a safer more resilient option to wearing elegant jewellery'
