‘Special agents’ discover Equipoint secrets

An elite group of special agents has uncovered one of Birmingham's best-kept commercial property secrets.

It was mission accomplished when around 30 office agents were invited by asset managers Highcross to investigate all that the landmark Equipoint building, on the A45 Coventry Road, has to offer businesses.

Following the completion of an extensive refurbishment programme Equipoint, prominently located at Swan Island, Yardley, now offers a wide range of high quality flexible office space options to suit businesses of all sizes.

Helen Barker, asset manager with Highcross, invited office agents from around the region to the 'secret agent' themed launch event with representatives from CBRE, KWB, King Sturge and GVA amongst others to inspect the fully refurbished office space.

She said: "This was a great opportunity to showcase Equipoint. Previous perceptions of the building and the area were that they had seen better days. However, with the major improvements and substantial improvements we have made to the building and the adjoining Tesco supermarket well underway, the area has been transformed."

Within one of Birmingham's most recognisable and unique buildings, flexible office space from as little as 600sq ft up to around and 40,000 sq ft is available, with even greater flexibility offered by Equip4business, the fully serviced office space which Highcross operates in Equipoint.

Helen added: "We invited the agents along to our 'Secret Agent' event so that they could see for themselves the quality of the accommodation offered and the flexible package it offers businesses of all sizes in terms of space and length of leases."

Ross Bendall, of joint letting agents Vail Williams, said: "Equipoint has a fantastic location right on the A45, equidistant from Birmingham city centre and the motorway network."

Solihull, Birmingham International Airport, and the M6, M42 and M40 motorways are all within just a few miles.

Fellow joint agent Alex Tross, of Colliers International, added: "The interest we have had from the agents has been great as they have been curious to see what Highcross has created here. Equipoint really stands out from the competition in more ways than one given its size and prominence and, when you take a look inside, you can fully appreciate that it is a building with real appeal, quality and flexibility."

Equipoint boasts excellent services/facilities for tenants, car parking, high quality common areas and uniquely profiled office floors benefiting from up-to-date specification, light and airy accommodation, and spectacular views. It also has 24/7 manned reception, security, meeting rooms, a cafe meeting area, on-site management, three high speed lifts and two goods lifts.

Joint letting agents at Equipoint are Vail Williams and Colliers International.
