Birmingham-based accountants and business advisors, Smith
Cooper, have made a significant addition to their audit team with
the appointment of Adrian Jones as audit director.
Adrian is a highly experienced business advisor who until 2009
was the head of audit and business assurance at BDO in
Birmingham.
With more than 20 years' experience advising businesses of
varying sizes and sectors, Adrian is well equipped to help expand
Smith Cooper's Birmingham business, which is based upon the firm's
reputation for providing a personal service led by experienced
partners and directors.
In his new role as audit director Adrian will be working with
clients to deliver audit and assurance services, shareholder value
and business growth; he will also be part of the firm's transaction
support team working on investigation and due diligence assignments
on behalf of clients and funders.
Birmingham born, Adrian, who trained with Kidsons in Birmingham,
is an old boy of King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys and a
past president of the Birmingham and West Midlands Society of
Chartered Accountants.
