Lutterworth-based health and safety consultants and training providers, Longland Safety Management Ltd has appointed AVA PR Ltd, one of the East Midlands leading corporate communications consultancies, to handle its corporate PR together with a re-fresh of brand identity.

Established in 1994, Longland Safety Management provide professional advice and guidance on all workplace health and safety compliances together with bespoke training courses either at the company's fully equipped centre or on site at a client's premises. Having recently expanded the business to incorporate an environmental management services division, managing director and founder, Paul Longland identified a need to increase the company's profile.

Paul said: "With our expertise in health and safety encompassing more and more of the 'green agenda', it seemed both a natural and logical progression to expand the business into this area. In doing so, we felt the time was right to boost our existing reputation with the appointment of a specialist PR consultancy in order to remind our customers of the service they can expect from Longland.
