CIPR Midlands Outstanding Small Consultancy, Rewired PR, is
celebrating a double client-win with two new arts projects.
The Birmingham-based agency has been appointed by Wolverhampton
Art Gallery and The Drum to deliver PR support for two new
projects.
Rewired will be working with Wolverhampton Art Gallery, and
partner museums and galleries, to promote Buy Black Country, a
campaign to celebrate the rich industrial heritage of the region.
Buy Black Country has commissioned five leading designer-makers to
create a series of limited edition craft pieces inspired by
locations such as Walsall's saddleries, Bilston Art Gallery and
Broadfield Glass Museum.
In addition, Rewired has been appointed to support the Children
and Young People's Programme at The Drum, the national centre for
Black British arts and culture.
The programme of work will include developing a PR and marketing
strategy for the programme, promoting family friendly activity and
delivering participatory workshops to teach PR and marketing skills
to young volunteers at The Drum.
Ruth Pipkin, Managing Director, Rewired PR said:
"We've developed a strong portfolio of arts and cultural clients
over the past three years, from International Dance Festival
Birmingham to BASS Festival. The team has worked closely with
Wolverhampton Art Gallery on a number of exhibitions and events,
and we are delighted to be continuing this relationship as well as
welcoming new client, The Drum."
Based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, Rewired PR was awarded
the CIPR Midlands PRide Award for Outstanding Small Consultancy in
2009 and 2010.
