1st anniversary with members
Birmingham's Personal Executive Assistant Regional Society
(PEARS) has recently undergone a revamp that will see the society
expand across Birmingham city centre.
PEARS was founded by the Brindleyplace Management Team in June
2004 to recognise the integral role PAs play in the overall success
of businesses across the professional services community.
At the beginning of this year, Brindleyplace collaborated with
the Business Improvement Districts in Birmingham City Centre to
expand and improve the society for its members. The Steering Group
now consists of representatives from Brindleyplace Management,
Broad Street BID, City Centre Partnership, Colmore Business
District and Retail Birmingham.
Kate Gregson, Marketing and PR Manager for Brindleyplace and the
Chair of PEARS said "PEARS has been hugely successful over the past
few years and the new collaboration will ensure the society grows,
the number of members increase and it will open a host of new event
opportunities across the city. I would like to encourage PAs to
join the society and meet like minded individuals."
PEARS meetings will be held on a bi-monthly basis at locations
across the City and provides all members with the opportunity to
view different venues, hear talks on a wide variety of topics,
learn new tasks and sometimes even be pampered! It also
provides PAs with the opportunity to network and sample the
culinary delights of Birmingham.
This year PEARS will be supporting The Steve Bull Foundation and
money raised at each event will be donated at the end of the year
to this worthy cause.
The first event of 2011 will be held at The Hyatt Regency Hotel
on Broad Street on Monday 28th February.
