As corporate membership at golf clubs continues to fall, a
Midlands venue has launched an innovative new scheme to attract
business players back to the game.
Patshull Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club, near
Wolverhampton, is hoping to beat the economic doom and gloom with
its new season ticket, offering businesses a unique deal.
The Patshull Park Golf Season Ticket, costs just £350 for
six fourballs (four golfers), which can be used Monday to Friday,
with no time restrictions from 1st April until 30th Septmeber. A
comparative fourball seven-day membership would cost in the region
of £1,995, with many firms feeling obliged to play the same
course throughout the year.
Although the idea of the season ticket was primarily aimed at
the corporate market, the club also offer the deal to any golfer
who may not want to commit to membership or hasn't the time to play
every week or simply wants to play during the fair-weather.
John Prior, Sales and Marketing Manager at Patshull Park, is
confident this offer will be a big success:
"Patshull Park are trying to embrace what we see as a
requirement of the busy professional or fair-weather golfer and
offer a great value season ticket."
"Without doubt I feel we are offering superb value and great
flexibility with this golf product. It's a solution for the busy
corporates and professionals who will now have the opportunity to
play our quality golf course, entertain clients and colleagues
without the fear of budget or time restriction."
As an introductory offer, businesses that purchase the ticket
before 28th February will get it for a reduced price of just
£300.
