Some entrepreneurs conceive ideas at an alarming rate, others
are more restrained, but all of us have some great (and not so
great) thoughts, most of which stay hidden. Conceiving an idea is
one thing, but seeing it grow healthily and make an impact on the
world is quite another. Young ideas need to interact with others so
they can develop, grow and make a difference. Launched today,
5Max.co.uk is a concept from the USA which gives oxygen to new
ideas, gets them interacting with others and contributes to more
ideas reaching their full maturity.
Avon Cosmetics started as a door to door bookseller, Nokia
started as a paper mill. New ideas need to mingle with other ideas
and brains to grow to their full potential.
Tim Latham who launched the business today (5max.co.uk) said
"You might think of us as the midwives of ideas. We are helping
people with ideas to get them out there, give them oxygen and
quickly get them bouncing around in a room full of other ideas.
Each event has five presenters each having a maximum of five
minutes and five slides to get their idea across. The judges have
up to £500 available to help the most promising ideas
along".
Latham added "Before launching we've already had interest from
companies wanting to look outside for some new ideas, help those
ideas along and network with clients and contacts in a very
relaxed way. We've designed 5Max.co.uk to make it a pleasant
experience for more people to see their ideas reach adulthood".
