Highly experienced private client lawyer Sarah Walker has joined the Stratford office of Shakespeare Putsman LLP as Partner.

She joins from Birmingham firm The Wilkes Partnership where she was with the private client team for five years, most recently as an Associate. Previously, Sarah was Assistant Solicitor at Blakemores Solicitors in Coventry.

Recognised for her extensive knowledge and experience of delivering robust advice and solutions for a variety of Wills, Trust and Probate matters, including Inheritance Tax Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney and cross-border and contentious Probate matters, Sarah is a specialist in all matters for private clients and a fully qualified member of STEP.

Of joining Needham & James, the Stratford-upon-Avon site of Shakespeare Putsman LLP, which has offices across the Midlands, Sarah says: "This is the latest step in the ongoing development of the Private Client team in Stratford, both in terms of resource and profile. The team is very focussed on its sustained development by building on its reputation as a centre of excellent legal advice in this specialist area, and its superb client care.

"This is an exciting time to join the firm and presents the perfect professional opportunity for me. Needham & James already has an excellent reputation in Stratford and Warwickshire, and we have the ideal team to match the needs of the high quality clients' work across the area."

Also joining the private client team at Needham & James is Mark Ferguson. Based at the firm's Shipston-on-Stour offices, where the team is headed by partner Finulla Allen, he joins as an Assistant Solicitor.
