A small team of high profile, experienced stylists have embarked upon their latest venture, with the launch of a new boutique hairdressing salon in Birmingham. 

Located near St Paul's Square in the Jewellery Quarter, Oliver James offers a new concept in hairdressing, bringing the salon experience back to its personable and unintimidating roots, to give its clients the 'wow' factor.

Simon Rogers, Co-Director of Oliver James Salon said: "We are introducing affordable luxury to Birmingham, with our dedication to offering fantastic customer service to help our clients leave the conveyor-belt rush behind."

"The boutique itself is beautifully decorated and very inviting and whether you drop by for a walk-in appointment or book in advance, your visit will be an experience to remember", he added.

Oliver James will be a family affair, with Directors Simon and nephew Richard combining their talents, honed through years of experience within the industry. 

Between them, the duo have been turning their practiced snips to hairstyles for high profile photo shoots, television commercials, makeovers and catwalks for over 23 years. 

As well as working for L'Oreal in Paris, Simon has appeared in the likes of Tattler, Vogue, Hello and Glamour magazine, and was the author of a regular column in the Sunday Telegraph.

Oliver James is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-8pm, with plans to open seven days a week as of July.
