A special weekend is being held at Sandhurst Gardens, the
exclusive Mansfield development from Miller Homes East Midlands, to
show prospective buyers how they might be able to take advantage of
innovative schemes designed to help them purchase the property of
their dreams.
As part of a national campaign entitled Miller Homes Can Fix It
For You, the award-winning housebuilder is showcasing its MiWay and
MiSwap schemes at the site, just off Nottingham Road and Forest
Road, NG18 4GU, this weekend.
Taking the stress out of moving house, the MiSwap Home Exchange
scheme means that people could swap their old homes for a brand new
one, whether they are upsizing, downsizing or just looking for a
like-for-like swap.
MiWay is a shared equity scheme that means those who qualify
will only have to fund from only 75 per cent of the price up front,
and Miller Homes will provide a loan of up to 25 per cent for the
remainder - meaning that buyers will own 100 per cent of the
property.
This means that at Sandhurst Gardens, The Golding Special
four-bedroomed townhouse at Plot 19 is for sale at £195,000
but, under MiWay, buyers would only have to fund £146,250 up
front, with purchasers having to provide just a £7,313
deposit.
Senior sales manager Paul Walters commented: "We've had a lot of
interest in how Miller Homes can help to fix it for people to own a
quality new home, so we decided to put on a special event to tell
more people about the innovative solutions.
"There are only three properties left at Sandhurst Gardens, a
development that has proved highly popular because of its location
in a leafy, highly-desirable suburb that has excellent commuter
links, good schools nearby and it's in close proximity to
amenities.
"Visitors to the special MiWay and MiSwap weekend will have the
chance to discuss what options might be available to them, whatever
their circumstances are, because not only will our
highly-experienced sales centre staff will be on hand to answer
questions, they will be accompanied by an independent financial
advisor."
