A Midlands law firm is serving up fresh advice to help small
businesses get on the right track to success.
Wright Hassall has launched the Wright Business Breakfast to
allow small and medium enterprises to hear from successful business
professionals and legal experts.
The first event takes place at Wright Hassall's Olympus Avenue
offices on Friday, March 4 from 8am until 10.30am.
Dean Walton, sales and marketing director at Alumet will share
experiences of how his company grew from just four staff 17 years
ago to over 100 today.
Melanie Gillman, procurement manager at Warwick District Council
will advise on the best way to engage with the council and seek out
wider opportunities across the West Midlands.
While experienced lawyers Christine Jackson, Sarah Day and John
Rouse are to offer their expert insights into contracting during a
recession, people management and how to protect your wealth.
Walton from Alumet, said: "I think this type of event could be
just what some small and medium size businesses need to enable them
to take the next step.
"I hope that by sharing the knowledge and understanding I have
gained from my time with Alumet I will be able to offer those in
attendance something they might not be able to gain elsewhere.
"If you look at it from the other side, I would have loved to
have had the opportunity to attend an event like this to teach me
things that would help me to reach the next level.
"The range of speakers taking part will also be beneficial
because, particularly with smaller businesses, it is important to
have all the legal aspects covered while you are working towards
growth and development.
"I think that if you come away learning just one thing that you
can effectively put into practice then it will have been a
worthwhile event."
