A local HR consultancy is celebrating their involvement in an
innovative workforce development project in partnership with a
Cheshire-based charity that aims to empower disabled people to
direct their own care.
Shropshire-based Triangle HR has been appointed as a provider of
recruitment, leadership and management training by Cheshire Centre
for Independent Living, a user-led organisation which offers a
range of support services shaped and driven by the needs and
aspirations of disabled people in Cheshire.
Triangle HR's new role sees them on-hand to provide training to
approximately 1,500 disabled people in Cheshire, with a particular
focus on providing them with the skills to recruit new Personal
Assistants. As well as training individuals to design appropriate
job advertisements and find suitable places to publicise the
positions, Triangle HR has also been involved with helping them to
develop the skills required to carry out job interviews by
identifying suitable competency questions, as well as being
available to provide support via training relating to any other
issues that arise in the overall recruitment and selection
process.
Founder and Director of Triangle HR, Justine Vaughan, revealed:

on a one-to-one basis with vulnerable adults, we were subjected to
a rigorous selection process. We had to prove our experience and
expertise by detailing a comprehensive record of our previous work
with clients across a number of sectors, whilst both myself and
Alison Dirkin, HR Consultant for Triangle HR, have successfully
undergone an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, which
means we are fully qualified to work with vulnerable adults and
children."
