An audio-visual specialist in the Midlands scooped a prestigious
business award for the third time in four years.
LNP Sound, based in Wednesbury, was crowned winner of the BGR
Mastery Award at a special ceremony that took place in Dudley. The
annual awards, run by the AVN Network and Lyness Accountancy,
recognise businesses that have implemented new ideas to improve
their business with excellent results.
The company was up against 12 other firms in the West Midlands
competing for the top prize. Predominately responsible for
LNP's success at the awards were its efforts to market the business
in new areas, including at exhibitions - a move that generated a
significant amount of new business for the organisation.
LNP Sound were also recognised for the development of their
customer retention procedures during 2010, through the
implementation of a client roster and reactivation letter for
customers that it had previously worked with. This allowed them to
stay in touch with former clients and remind them that LNP sound
were at hand to service their events.
The audio-visual company also revamped itself by rebranding and
launching new campaigns on social media platforms Facebook and
Twitter, allowing them to actively engage with potential and
existing customers on a regular basis.
LNP Sound, which is a specialist agency for audio and visual
equipment, previously won the award in 2009 and 2007. Paul Spicer,
Director of LNP Sound, was delighted to receive the award for the
third time:
"It was a real honour and a great way to end our year on this
high, even more so as this is now a hat-trick for us. We look
forward to carrying on using the new ideas we have implemented and
hope that it will get us another step forward in becoming one of
the best AV companies in the events industry."
He added:
"We are continuing to grow the business, especially as the event
industry has taken a big knock in the economic climate, and we are
hoping that these new ideas and the way that we are implementing
them will help us to be around for many more years to come."
