A star-studded motorcycle stunt show that sees some of the
world's best riders battle against each other for the first time,
is to launch in London this week.
Produced by concert and event company Liz Hobbs Group Ltd,
Revolution is an exciting, all-action production which will see
riding legends Kevin Schwantz, Randy Mamola, Freddie Spencer, Neil
Hodgson, Dougie Lampkin, Frankie Chili and John McGuinness, display
their bike handling skills and even compete head to head in a
number of gladiatorial challenges.
Liz Hobbs Group created the 60-minute show for Bauer Media Group
and it is set to be the highlight of the 2011 Carole Nash MCN Show
at ExCel London, which takes place from 3rd to 6th February.
In addition to celebrity riders, Revolution features elite stunt
riders performing incredible tricks and freestylers leaping
overhead to a backdrop of music and pyrotechnics, culminating in
spectacular revolutions.
Ultra-sexy, fire-breathing motorcycle rock group, The Fuel
Girls, will also be rocking up on stage to help make Revolution one
of the most memorable bike shows ever seen.
Grand prix, World Superbike and British Superbike legend, Neil
Hodgson, said "I'm really excited about the whole Revolution gig.
It's nice to do something different and have a laugh at the
same time. I can't believe it's taken someone this long to
come up with this great concept!"
The launch of Revolution marks the beginning of a new venture
for Liz Hobbs Group, now recognised as the largest producer of
music events and concerts to sporting venues in the UK.
Liz Hobbs Group's Operations Director, Rupert Doogan-Hobbs, is
the brainchild behind the concept and has been working on the
development and delivery of Revolution for Bauer Media Group for
over a year.
"Bauer Group were looking at ways to develop the MCN show in
London and given our track record with new and concept events,
asked if we would be interested in working with them on this
project," Rupert explained.
"To be working with some of the greatest riders in the world
makes this a very exciting project for us. Everything has been
designed from a blank drawing board, so what the audience will see
will be a fresh, exciting and brand new concept.
"The stunts, along with the adrenaline we've experienced already
at rehearsals, are going to prove addictive and compelling
viewing.
"The pulsating music, pyrotechnics and the chance to see so many
world class riders in one place competing against each other on
bikes, makes Revolution a totally unique experience."
Liz Doogan-Hobbs, CEO of Liz Hobbs Group added: "It's been a joy
working with the Bauer team and knowing that the weight of the
mightiest media group is behind the project certainly gave us the
confidence to fly with it. This is year one and we're looking
forward to the show going from strength to strength."
"We're already talking to people about including the show as a
highlight at other large scale events and exhibitions. In
fact we're pretty confident that Revolution will soon be going
global!"
Liz Hobbs Group Ltd was ranked 20th in The Sunday Times Virgin
Fast Track 100 list in December 2010, which ranks the fastest
growing private companies in the UK, based on sales growth over the
past three years.
