Inspirational speaker Vinay Parmar will be giving a lift to
businesses - as Dudley and District Business Club gives a lift to
charities tomorrow (on Tuesday February 15).
Coach and writer Vinay Parmar, of Birmingham, will be motivating
business owners on "Leading though adversity and into
prosperity" at the club's meeting at Hagley Golf Club, Wassell
Grove Lane, starting at 7pm.
When it comes to dealing with change, Vinay has first hand
experience in overcoming tough challenges in life and business. He
talks frankly and openly as he shares his ideas about the
'leadership mindset' through his personal stories.
Members will also be voting to nominate their Charity for the
Year.
Mick Davies, club's chairman, said: "We raised hundreds of
pounds last year to help Dudley and Stourbridge Voluntary Support
Group of Diabetes UK, so it is exciting to see how we can help
people in our local community this year.
"We are also looking forward to hearing and learning Vinay's
methods. We welcome local business owners to meet and network
at the bar, and enjoy a great 2 course dinner followed by this
month's business presentation.
"We invite new businesses to join them to try it for
themselves."
Dudley and District Business Club has a welcome for business
owners from the individual self-employed to companies. Club
members help those starting out to gain from others' experiences,
on negotiating and closing deals on new business. The club,
membership just £25 a year, meets the third Tuesday of each
month, over a hot supper, for networking. A small charge is made,
and booking is essential via www.ddbc.co.uk
