The managing partner of Walsall's leading solicitors, Enoch
Evans LLP, has marked his 25th year within the firm by cycling 160
miles for charity.
David Evans cycled the impressive distance from London to
Walsall raising just over £2,500 for Midlands Air Ambulance,
an amount that he handed over to flight crew at Cosford air base on
23rd February.
Dr Matthew Dugas from Sycamore House Surgery, Birmingham Road,
Walsall and an old friend of David's, Martin Newhouse joined the
legal partner on the cycle ride which was completed in just two
days last September.
David Evans said "The response to our charity event has been
staggering and I am very proud of the generosity shown to us by our
clients, professional contacts, staff, family and
friends.
"The mission was labour intensive but the outstanding work that
the charity carries out makes all the aches and pains worth it.
Thank you to everyone who contributed towards the final total, it
has certainly made my 25th year with Enoch Evans LLP more
memorable."
Staff at Enoch Evans LLP held a raffle in support of the
fundraising challenge, contributing over £100 to the total
amount raised.
The £2,500 donation will fund one life-saving mission
across the Midlands, of which the Midlands Air Ambulance responds
to 3,000 each year.
Established for more than a century Enoch Evans LLP provides a
range of legal services including matrimonial and family, company
and commercial, employment, wills, tax and probate.
