Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Outstanding Small Consultancy of the
Year
Lincolnshire based Lava PR has proved once again that it is one
of the best PR consultancies in the UK, after being shortlisted for
not one but four categories in the 2011 Fresh PR Awards; the UK's
leading creative PR awards.
Established in 2006, Lava PR faces some fierce competition in
the three categories: Consultancy of the Year, Best Integrated
campaign and Best Public Sector campaign for its work in supporting
two Lincolnshire arts festivals; SO Festival 2010 and Black/North
SEAS.
The Fresh Awards showcase the best in creativity, digital and
media across the UK.
The nominations build upon Lava's success in last year's Fresh
Awards, when the consultancy was a finalist in the Best Public
Sector campaign category.
The consultancy, which now employs seven people, has been
officially recognised as one of the best agencies in the region,
having won the CIPR's Outstanding Small Consultancy in Lincolnshire
& Yorkshire at the PRide Awards in November.
Commenting on Lava's success, managing director Matt Hammerton
said: "We're absolutely chuffed to bits with this nomination. We've
always considered ourselves to be one of the most dynamic PR
consultancies in the UK and it's fantastic to feature in the Fresh
Awards shortlists for the second year running.
"The Fresh Awards recognise and celebrate the best work being
undertaken by the profession in the UK and as such, are fiercely
competitive. This year therewere many entries from bigger,
longer-established London based agencies, so for us to receive
these nominations is incredibly pleasing and we're really proud of
our achievement.
"It is a real testament to the Lava team that we keep coming up
with new, engaging and innovative ways to promote our clients,
their products and services."
The winners will be announced during a special awards ceremony
at the Deansgate Hilton Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 3 March
2011.
