A leading recruitment company has announced a re-launch of its East Midlands operations.

Katie Bard, which is part of the international Angela Mortimer Group, has appointed Tamsin Millns and Leon Morley to head up its central Nottingham office.

The duo have 15 years of Nottingham-based recruitment expertise between them and will be recruiting top level PAs, secretaries and support staff for leading companies across the region.

Millns, who lives in Mapperley and graduated from Nottingham Law School in 1999, said: "Quality continues to be a challenge when recruiting for support level vacancies.

"The influx of candidates into the market due to government austerity measures makes recruiting even more time consuming and complex than previously and Katie Bard can add value to this process.

"The company already has a very strong presence in the West Midlands and I'm looking forward to extending our services across the East Midlands."

Julie Fouad, chief operating officer for Katie Bard in the Midlands, said the way recruitment companies operate is set for a major shake-up.

"In a challenging recruitment market, it is important to distinguish our service by offering something different," she said.

"The new Agency Workers Regulations, due to come in to force in October, will have a significant impact on the way in which companies recruit.

"It will therefore be even more important to identify and work with a recruitment partner that can help to guide you in identifying and implementing the right recruitment strategies to ensure you maintain productivity and growth.

"I'm delighted with the team we now have in place and look forward to working closely with Tamsin and Leon as we look to strengthen our presence across Nottingham and the wider East Midlands region."
