A money expert who runs a Sutton Coldfield based wealth management company has been awarded a major certificate recognising her excellence in financial planning.

Helen Blackburn, managing director of Oaklands Wealth Management Ltd, on Coleshill Street, has been awarded the esteemed ISO 22222 Certified Financial Planner certificate.

She is only the 42nd person in the United Kingdom to receive the prestigious certificate which rubber stamps her excellence in the field of financial planning.

Helen, who has over 20 years of experience in financial services, was externally assessed by Standards International back in December and recently notified about her outstanding achievement.

She said: "I am delighted with achieving the ISO international quality stamp of approval which recognises the high standard of financial planning offered to our clients. I have an excellent team around me at Oaklands Wealth Management and I couldn't have achieved this certificate without them. Together we deliver an efficient and personalised wealth management service that people trust."

The ISO 22222 quality mark was established in 2005 to build consumer trust and confidence by providing an internationally recognised benchmark for the delivery of personal finance services.

Following a rigorous assessment of Helen's financial planning processes she has met the ethical behaviour, competency and experience requirements in delivering investment and savings advice, taxation planning, personal protection, retirement and estate planning to the high levels demanded by this international standard.

Helen's clients include professionals and business owners, divorcees and non-doms.

She also advises on company pensions schemes and auto enrolment for companies of all sizes throughout the Midlands and the UK.
