Highcross has let a 4,000 sq ft unit at its Old Dalby Business Park in Melton Mowbray to wholesale jewellery business, Suzie Blue.

The company, which imports fashion and silver jewellery, bags and accessories from Bali, Java and India, has taken the unit on a three-year lease.

The premises provide a combination of showroom, office space and storage, on a secure site within the Old Dalby Business Park, with its own gated entrance. The 39-acre park is located within easy reach of Leicester, Nottingham and Loughborough, and provides a wide range of manufacturing and warehouse space.

Previously based in Lincolnshire, the company mainly sells to retailers through trade fairs and the website, and the move to Old Dalby has widened its offer to customers, giving them the opportunity to also visit the on-site showroom to view the product range.

Highcross asset manager, Joe Curlett comments: "The unit taken by Suzie Blue Jewellery was originally the fire station for the park and has been fully modernised to provide showroom and office facilities. The park's location is close to several major urban areas and this and the range of accommodation available continue to be key factors in attracting companies to locate here."

The Old Dalby Business Park has industrial and manufacturing units from 16,000 sq ft to 102,000 sq ft, available on freehold or flexible lease arrangements. Among the facilities are secure gated entrance and barriers, on-site estate manager and CCTV, plus cafe and meeting room for occupiers.

Agents for Old Dalby Business Park are Andrew and Ashwell.
