Wolverhampton based loans company BCRS are holding the third of
their free Business Seminar series "Financing a Private Sector
Recovery" at The Beacon Centre, Staffordshire University Stafford
Campus on Friday 25th February at 7.00am.
The breakfast event takes place in the Gallery Restaurant and
speakers will include Jeremy Lefroy, MP for Stafford who will speak
on the New Policy Environment; Professor David Bailey of Coventry
University Business School, who will talk on The Local Economic
Framework, with chief executive of BCRS Paul Kalinauckas concluding
with A Co-operative Approach to Small Business Lending.
The programme begins with networking and a hot buffet breakfast,
followed by a welcome by Cllr Mike Lawrence of Staffordshire County
Council. The introduction to the seminar will be made by Cllr Mike
Heenan, Leader of Stafford Borough Council who will also chair the
event. There will be a question and answer session at the end of
the seminar, which closes at 9.00am, with opportunities to network
until 10.00am.
BCRS has teamed up with Staffordshire County Council to create
the Staffordshire Business Support Fund (SBSF). The £1m fund,
managed by BCRS, is available to small businesses based in
Staffordshire who are eligible for loans of up to
£50,000.
