An IT support company has challenged the Staffordshire business
community to stump them with an IT question, to celebrate the
launch of their new website.
UK Business IT Director Mark Swann believes the company's vast
experience makes it virtually impossible for anyone to baffle them
with an IT problem.
The Stoke-on-Trent firm's five engineers have over 50 years'
experience between them, and Mark himself has worked in the
industry since 1985, at a number of local businesses including
Peach Data Services, Barringtons and M&M Technologies.
Mark Swann said: "We think we have dealt with every conceivable
IT question over the years, so we challenge local businesses and
organisations to try and baffle us!
"We will only ask them to pay for our time if we solve the
problem."
The company has created their new website, at www.ukbusiness.it,
to become a resource of information for people with IT problems.
The site will feature a regular blog on IT Issues, and a host of
free downloads, which provide advice on green ICT, disaster
planning, and data security.
And they are also embracing social media sites like YouTube to
help businesses resolve their own technical queries, such as adding
and removing users on a network, basic network administration, and
host a number of the Etruria-based company's customer
testimonials.
Mark Swann said: "We wanted to make the company more personable
and approachable, because a lot of IT companies are faceless and
remote, and use too much jargon.
"In our experience there are plenty of enquiries which can be
resolved quickly and without the need to speak to a technician, so
our social media profiles will save companies both time and
expense."
